HOW PROM ALLY WORKS
Prom Ally provides *free loans* of prom dresses and suits to school pupils, sixth formers, and college students across the UK who would otherwise struggle to afford one. We believe every young person deserves to feel confident and included on their special night - no matter their circumstances.
We work closely with schools, social services, food banks, and local charities, and operate on a referral basis to ensure support reaches those who need it most.
*While the outfits are loaned at no cost, we do kindly ask for a voluntary £10 contribution to help cover delivery, return postage, and packaging.
3 SIMPLE STEPS
If you're a young person who needs an outfit for prom but can't afford one, or you're a teacher, social worker, or charity worker supporting someone who does, Prom Ally is here to help. Our referral process is simple and designed to make things as easy as possible.
MAKE A REFERRAL
A professional (such as a teacher, social worker,
youth worker, or charity representative) fills out our referral form on behalf of the young person. This helps us ensure the service is reaching those who need it most.
CHOOSE AN OUTFIT
Once the referral is received, we’ll get in touch with the student to help select a suitable outfit from the dresses and suits available. We can send photos, measurements, and additional details to make sure it’s the perfect fit and style.
DELIVERY AND RETURN
We post the outfit out, and ask for a £10 contribution to help cover delivery and return postage. After prom, the outfit is simply returned using the pre-paid return label provided.
