Prom Ally offers free prom dress and suit loans to school kids, sixth formers, and college students across the UK who might not otherwise be able to afford them.
We work through referrals from schools, social services, food banks, and charities, making sure our support reaches those who need it most. Since we started, we’ve loaned out thousands of dresses and suits to ensure everyone is able to attend their special event.
It all began with just 15 dresses from charity shops, and now, thanks to amazing public and business donations, we have over 3,000 available!
In April 2020, Prom Ally officially became a Community Interest Company (CIC). This allowed us to start selling affordable pre-loved and new formal wear to help raise funds so we can continue offering our prom outfits free to those who need them.
